TVDF WELCOMES LAMA JHAMPA SHANEMAN SEPTEMBER 11-15, 2013

Green Tara
Getting in Touch with Divine Feminine Energy

Lama Jhampa Shaneman

September 11-15, 2013

The historical Tara can be a role model for all of us.  Just like us, she was once an ordinary being with problems, stress, and disturbing emotions.  But, through the Buddha's teachings, she attained full awakening, and total development of all good qualities.  Even now, Tara encourages us along the path with her gentle smile that says; "If I can do it, so can you!"

Tara can also be understood on other levels; as a manifestation of awakened qualities, or as our Buddha potential in its future, fully evolved form.  Alternating between understandings can be of great help in cultivating one’s good qualities.
