“Finding Happiness by Letting Go of the Eight Worldly Concerns”

Fundamental happiness, as opposed to transient pleasure, is a skill that can be learned and developed.

It starts with recognizing how many worldly concerns lead us in the wrong direction.

All sessions at LTTT Temple, 2312 W. Overland Road

Ven. Chonyi is a Buddhist nun practicing in the Tibetan tradition.  She is a resident of Sravasti Abbey, the Buddhist monastery in Newport, Washington and has received full bhikshuni ordination and studies under the guidance of Venerable Thubten Chodron.

Chenrezig Practice This Saturday!

PLEASE JOIN the TVDF in Chenrezig Practice
Saturday May 26th and June 2nd, TVDF will conduct the Chenrezig practice during the usual meeting time (10:00 - 11:30 a.m.). We are joining others in cultivating compassion and dedicating the practice and mantra recitation to support Sravasti Abbey's Chenresig Hall project. Chenrezig Hall is a new community building and guest house that will help the Abbey community to practice and share the Buddha's teachings on love, wisdom, and compassion.  We will have mantra counting cards so that if you wish, you can contribute to the Abbey's goal of 21 million recitations of the mantra, om mani padme hum.

PLEASE JOIN WITH THE TVDF and THE FRIENDS OF SRAVASTI ABBEY TO SPREAD COMPASSION, BENEFIT ALL BEINGS, AND CREATE THE CONDITIONS TO BUILD CHENREZIG HALL

TVDF Annual Meeting

PLEASE JOIN US FOR THE TREASURE VALLEY DHARMA FRIENDS ANNUAL MEETING


On Saturday May 12, TVDF will hold its Annual Membership Meeting from 11:00-11:30 at the LTTT Temple.  

We will end the regular session a bit early to start the Annual Meeting at 11:00 a.m.  The meeting will include election of board members, financial report, and an opportunity for member input on TVDF activities.
